I am 17. I have three younger siblings an 11 year old sister (entering sixth grade), a 13 year old brother (entering 7th grade), and a fifteen year old brother (sophomore). While my dad is gone for the week, I take care of them. What should their bedtimes be?

  1. for your 11 year old sister I'd put her to bed at 8:30 or 9.

    for your 13 year old brother maybe 9:30 ( I'm 13 and that's my bedtime )

For a fifteen year old I'm not exactly sure but I'd guess around 10 or 10:30.

You could ask them when their bedtime normally is or ask your parents.

  2. I would say 11pm for the 17 year old

for the 11 year old 9:30

for the 13 yr old 10:00

  3. I think your eleven year old sister should go to bed about 9:30-10 but be allowed to stay up and read for an hour and half or so. Your thirteen year old brother I would say 10-10:30, because I don't think he would be interested in reading. And your fifteen year old brother I don't think should have a limit. But you should set a time that he has to be in his room by, and as long as he's quiet and not a total grouch in the morning be able to decide when to go to sleep.

  4. What are their bedtimes now?  What time do they need to get up in the morning?  A 13 and 15 year old should know what time to go to bed on their own.

  5. Depending on what time they have to get up, count backwards eight or nine hours. If they all need to be up by six, then they should be going to bed at nine or ten.

  6. tell your 11 year old sister to go to bed at like 9:00 and for the 13 and 15 year olds tell them to go when they want
