Setting the date on my rolex president day/date...

Question

i noticed at 12am last night my watch did not change to thur. the 1st. so i messed with he crown and got the day to thur. but now the date is at the 5th. and it will not change. i unscrewed the crown and on the 1st click with the watch still running, it will not change the date. can you help?
