Setting uop netgear?

Question

things that i have:

pc

laptop

verizon internet (wireless DSL modem/router)

netgear wireless firewall router

netgear wireless pc card

what should i do in order to take my laptop anywhere i go?

OK, you plug the DSL into the router via the Ethernet cable. Then you plug the PC into port 1 on the router via Ethernet. Then on your laptop scan for wireless and you should find your router connect and your ready to go. From your wired PC you can go into the router settings and in the wireless settings you can enable wpa security and save. you'll have to rescan with the laptop and enter the password to connect but this will keep other people from connecting to your Internet.

After hooking this up you should be able to use the Internet with the laptop anywhere around the house.
