Im having my living room plastered shortly and want to ensure I have all the angles covered in terms of cable installation & wall plates for the TV, DVD, Sky, Surround Sound Speaker System, Telehpone lines that will be required.

Any suggested cabling diagrams would be greatly appreciated

  1. It depends on where you expect equipment to sit, what kit you have etc.  For example, Sky/Sky+ would require RGB with a SCART and Sky HD would use HDMI to connect to the TV.  You may choose to switch everything through your surround sound amp.

If you can expand on the requirements then it would give me more to work with.  The other option is to pay a local custom installer to come round and provide you with the advice you need as they may have some really good ideas once they see the room and kit.
