Setting up an address group?

How do I set up an address group so that I can send out a monthly news letter. I want recipients to only see their own address. Having set up the group, How do I recall it each month so that can send out the same message, is there a folder some where of sent messages? If so how do I find it?

  1. Here is how you can create a new Group:

    1. Go to Yahoo!s homepage, from the left hand side list choose "groups"

    2. When the pages comes, there is box which says "Easy as 1-2-3. Start your group today." Click on it.

    3. Then you enter to your Yahoo mail address.

    4. You have 3 steps to create your yahoo group, which are: Categorize, Describe and Select Profile

    How do I start a new group?

    It’s easy to start a group. Just click Start a Group on any Yahoo! Groups page. We'll walk you through a simple set-up process and presto, you’ll have a group!

    It’ll get listed in the Yahoo! Groups directory within a few days, in the category that you select during the set-up process. Occasionally, our team of category editors comes across groups they feel have been miscategorized, and if this happens with your group, we’ll let you know.


  2. 1)  To start your own group, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/start and follow the three very easy steps for starting your new group. Just follow the prompts given as you go.

    2)  To create a message to be sent out monthly to your members:

    Sign in to the group.

    Click Files.

    Click on "Create Text File".

    Enter the name of your file that you want to be shown on the subject line of the message which will be sent monthly to members.

    Write a brief description of what your file is about.  

    Underneath "Auto-send to Members", click on the blank square in front of "Every month". This will place a checkmark in that square.

    Under "File Content",  in the large blank outlined area, type in the message exactly as you want it to appear when it is sent to your members.

    Scroll down to the bottom of page and click "Create File".

    This message will be sent monthly to all members except those who have their email delivery set for No Mail/Web Only or Special Notices.
