I wanna switch to Verizon. My parents have cingular can I switch by myself even though I am 17. I'd be paying for my own bill.

an adult has to do it, meaning someone 18 an over.

you have to be a legal adult, age 18 to be on a legal contract of any kind...sorry, you have to wait a little bit longer.

of course you can do prepaid.  but that has no contract.
