thats fine jest set it up using tap water

Scrub it so that there's no more traces of salt, algae, etc. WITHOUT USING SOAP OR BLEACH.

Then you can clean out the filter, fill the tank with water, run the filter heater, etc. Then cycle the tank for a month or so.

Then you can add your freshwater fish.

That's it.

It's much easier to convert to freshwater than it is to convert to saltwater.
