Settings on Nikon Coolpix L16...?

Question

My dad bought me a Nikon Coolpix L16 today, and when i take a picture, it only stays there for like a second. and i can't figure out how to change that. i want it to be, when i take a picture, i can look at it for a few seconds, THEN press "playback".

so, if anyone knows how to change it, or has a Nikon Coolpix, then that would be very helpful :D

Use your menu function on the back of the camera.  First hit the playback button. Next hit the "Menu" button in playback mode.  Set the display mode to the desired number of seconds.  Then hit the "menu" button again to exit the menu function.
