  1. Ask this question of YOUR insurance company

  2. First of all !!  You need to retain an injury lawyer.

There is no way you can get pain and suffering or future medical bills in any settelement doing this on your own ! Yes your lawyer will get a part of the settelement, but you will be alot better off in the end !    Whatever you do, do not sign anything without having legal advice first !  Good luck !!

  3. I have been through the same situation and let me tell you how you can get the maxium amout. first talk to your insurance company if you have any medical reimbursment  coverage and use it. If you don't make sure that your health insurance company is aware that you were in an accident that way they willl get the money from the auto insurance company. The reason why is because the adjusters base the settlement amount  on the amout they spend on your medical. If they do not get a bill then the assume you are not in need of pain in suffering compensation. If you want the adjuster to know how much pain you are in then have them pay for your medical bills they'll get the point. If it does't cost them anything then they will not give you a big settlement but if the adjuster is getting 1100$bills every week you will find they are more than willing to give you 3x your medical costs.
