    3. Anger is one of the most common and destructive delusions, and it afflicts our mind almost every day. To solve the problem of anger we first need to recognize the anger within our mind, acknowledge how it harms both our-self and others, and appreciate the benefits of being patient in the face of difficulties. We then need to apply practical methods in our daily life to reduce our anger and finally to prevent it from arising at all.

  5. I think road rage has been a problem as long as there have been cars on the road.  I don't think that there are degrees of it, it's just how you handle it.  When I get angry I try to remember to treat people the way that I would want to be treated and ask myself if my safety is worth it.  For instance, if someone cut me off on the interstate and slung gravel all over my PT Cruiser, I may be tempted to make them pay for it but it's not worth it...it would be my word against theirs and trying to stop them I would put myself at risk (that is based on a real event with real consequences).

One thing that I think might help road rage...I think everyone who is learning to drive should be REQUIRED to take a driver's education course.  It really makes you think about your safety and the safety of other drivers on the road.
