  1. Fifteens

  2. 7's is great fun. But 15 a side is the real game.

  3. 15 definitely. Although 7's is very fast and exiting 15's edges it and is good to watch.

  4. well im a forward and im not the fastest chap so for playing 15 is the stuff, and to watch i prefer 15's , but i have to marvel at the sheer physical strength of the 7's players. and it is a very quick paced game, so i enjoy both but 15's has the edge.

Whitstable RFC U17's for the league!

  5. Fifteens but sevens make a fine change now and then it is very fast and fun to watch i have had sum grate days out at the Melrose sevens

  6. Like to play 15s but enjoy watching both 15s and 7s

  7. 13 a side any day.

Oh, sorry, didn't realise you were talking boring Union again.

Merry Xmas to all Unionists, which rule are you going to steal off League next year? 1pt for a drop goal?

  8. 15's always, though i still enjoy watching the 7's when get the chance.

  9. I enjoy both games, but if push came to shove, then I would have to opt for 15's!

Loved Aled Brew's tackle on the poor English guy during the SA 7's though;-)

  10. Both are great games. It could be compared to the different versions of cricket played. There is 4/5 day test matchs (real cricket, purist would say) and the two shortened versions, the 50 over game and 20/20. You need to understand the basics of each game to fully appreciate the skills required. As with15 man rugby and the shorten version of 7s no one can really say that one is better than the other as each version of the game requires different skills.

  11. 15 is proper rugger

  12. 15's by a country mile.............

  13. there is just something cheap and worrying about sevens.

  14. well for a pure game its 15s

for speed and showmanship its 7s

seen midlesex sevens twice now and would go again

    alsolove to go world sevens

for thebig names and sheer enjoyment

cant wait however for the six nations and off to local club again also taking youngest children to a club game in may

so im kinda mixed srry its all good rugby though till your team loses or country

  15. 15's.    I think the 7's game is an ideal platform for players wanting to move into the more expansive 15 a side game.    It's fast, it's hard, it's exciting so it is an excellent 'training' facility.

  16. Both. 15s normally but once or twice a year 7s is great fun.

  17. I always love to watch 15's, I have ever since I was 5. The game is filled with so much intensity that I guess Loving 15's rugby is criteria for being human. lol

However with 7's, especially when it comes to the Wellington Caketin tournament, I have to say 7's is filled with a party atmosphere! where anyone with no prior rugby knowledge can just come and watch a quick and swift game of seven's rugby and have fun!

  18. Definitely 15s.  I'm not so fast, so 7s are hard.  Also, I'm a hooker, and I just feel wasted during a game of 7s.

That said, it is kind of cool to have such a short period of time in which to go all out.  I hate driving an hour + to a game to only play a little bit, though.

  19. 15s every time, 7s is just a diluted version.

  20. 15 dude

  21. 15s is more of a team game, requiring lots of decent players wheras 7s is more of an individual way to play the game.

Both games have their benefits :)

  22. 15 more people to hit more oppurtunities to put hits on people and the fights are better in a 15 game

  23. 15 Aside,   the real deal

    but 7's is great too.

  24. 15 a side. 7s is good fun to watch but its more of a side show than a main event

  25. As a scot has to be 7's purely cause it is fast plus it s all over in one day and can make areal day of it and see lots of differnt styles in one place, 15's is as everyone says the purests form and i have no prpoblems with it just enjoy the spectical of 7's more

  26. 15s is where it's at for us big guys.

  27. most lazy people or particularly the front row union in collaboration with the second row union will say 15's. cos its the only code they can compete in in terms of union. for te outside backs i.e 11,13,14,15  in colaboration with 6 7 and 8  this combination of players makes the perfect 7 aside team. the bove players being the ones who cover a lot of ground  and do a lot of running. so not much diff in terms of work rate for them in 7's as compared to 15's. it is a much fatser pace, but the skills ad phases of play are miles ahead of a 15's game. a 15's game can easily turn into a  kicking game between the two teams kickers, ad games are often decided by who can convert the most penalty chances and who can kick beter drop goals. as for sevens, this is the true essence of what rugby is. just pure pace power agility and clever play with room to move. you really have to be on top form to compete at sevens unlike at 15's you can play acarrying an injury and get away with it.

so for me it has to be sevens.  the days of the drop goals are numbered. rugby should be deceide on who scores the most tries not who kicks beter.

    7's all the way.

  28. 15

  29. 15 for a fan

7's for a person hu wants entertainment
