  1. Pot is not legal, it has been decriminalized.  There is a difference.  It simply means that, it is not exactly legal, but if you are caught with it you won't be charged with a criminal offence.  It's a good idea because otherwise the prisons would be full of people with possession charges instead of the real criminals.  But it has to be a small amount, if it isn't they will assume it is for trafficking.  Buying pot in Canada is the same as it is in most other countries:  you have to know who is selling it.  I don't know much about the law concerning peyote and mushrooms.  Interestingly, while it is illegal to sell pot in a store what you do see are some stores that sell pot paraphernalia.  Pipes, bongs, etc.  I don't know the prices of anything, I never smoke.  But half of the people I know do.

If you drive across the border from the US into Canada, you don't need a passport.  Picture ID will do.  This will end soon. But you need to check if you need a passport to get back into the US.   If you land in Canada in an airplane, regardless of where you are from, you need a passport.

  2. no, they're not legal. however I know a lot of people who do it.

so basically, do it all you want but don't get caught.

you can,t buy it from stores, you have to get it from dealers. although for medical purposes you can get marijuana.

i don't remember the exact penalty for smoking marijuana, but i think you go to jail for selling it and get fined if you are caught smoking or with a certain amount on you and you get it confiscated. not to mention driving under the influence.

    and salvia is legal.

and yes you have to have a passport to visit canada.

  3. Are you serious?? Drugs are very ILLEGAL in Canada. Marijuana has been "decriminalized" here in Ontario, meaning if you are caught with less than 28.35 grams, less than an ounce, it is deemed for personal use, and you cannot be charged with possession with intent. They will however, confiscate it, as well as any paraphernalia. Mushrooms and peyote are always illegal. Did you seriously think you could buy it in stores? As for costs, who knows, I don't know a d**n thing about what drugs cost in the states, nor do I care. so I cannot give you a comparison, nor would I, as the last thing Canada needs is dumb *** Americans coming here to buy drugs.

  4. Those Drugs are not True at all! you can't smoke any of them legaly! and yes you have to have a passport for every country you travel to in the world

  5. There was discussion about one province decriminalizing it.  Which didn't go through.  We have medicinal marijuana available with a perscription.  And it's hard to get.  The only person I know who've been able to get it have been cancer survivors.  The only reason I think people think it's legal here is that we're more relaxed and tolerate of pot-heads.

If you want a country you can buy pot, no hassle, no prescription, any store any time try the Netherlands.  More specifically Amsterdam.  They also have hookers in case you want some cheap s*x with your drugs.

I don't know what Peyote is.  Mushrooms aren't legal.

You don't need a passport until June 2009
