  1. 1. To find ways to describe natural occurrences in the universe.

    2. An inference is an assumption made about an object based on observation.

    3. A hypothesis gives scientists something to work for, a question to answer using the rest of the scientific method. A hypothesis gives scientists something to work towards.

    4. Observation of an occurrence or object, expanding on research done by another scientist, or as the result of a human medical issue.

    5. If you test more than one variable at a time you can't determine which variable effected the resulting data.
