  1. yes it is a nature beauty where anybody will think to live .

    may the dream come true.

  2. Darjeeling is one of the favourite tourist destinations in india. The weather is pleasing- its never too hot in darjeeling. You will find lovely tea farms and apple trees all over darjeeling.

    You must visit it.

  3. Darjeeling is a picturesque little hill station nesting in the Himalayas and hanging from the clouds...itis a quaint little town popular with tourists. Check out the botanical gardens, local colorful  flora and fauna, the colorful local markets, sit back with a cup of the  finest tea you can find in the world and breathe easy with the pure mountain air, watch the world, the clouds go by.  Then. when the mood gets you,  ride the charming Toy Train -- now listed under the world's best trains - explore the hillsides and get that glimpse of the Himalayas, all majestic and tall, giving you a feel of the spiritual dimension in life.

It still has a hangover from the days of the British Raj when they first introduced tea to the area which since then has become a thriving business placing this town on the  world-map for its famous and premium teas. The estates have kept up with changing and upscale tastes of connoisseurs in the West by bottling  expensive First Flush, Green, White  and Organic Tea varieties -- the well-known estates like Ambootia,  offer the visitor a comfortable place to stay and visit on their premises with tea-tasting and guided tours on vast terrains of hilly tea plantations.

The other hangover from the British Raj is the number of public schools styled after the British school system. It is still a place for an idyllic retreat -- away from the maddening crowds although some say Darjeeling has lost some of its old charm due its commercialization...
