its to the left side by my sacroiliac joint, i get the pain there about 3 times a year and it takes about 2 weeks to go away by itself. its a sharp pain whenever i walk the wrong way or turn wrong or put pressure on my left foot. i have ankylosing spondylitis but i dont think this is from that. i have taken many powerful anti inflammitory medicines and a lot of pain killers and codeine but none of them helped reduce the pain at all. i can barely walk and i limp when i walk. i really want this to go away and fast, what do you think it is and how can i relieve the pain? thanks

  1. try to hurt the right side then it will feel better

  2. maybe you have sciatica or nerve pain. i wouldn't try to treat it by yourself, go to the doctor to get checked out. i really hope you feel better soon :)

  3. I have gotten the same exact thing since I was about 20, except it would last for months.  I went to a few docs, had x-rays, etc, no one helped.  Then I went to a chiropractor.  I never really believed in them, I thought it was kind of a load of bull, but my friend had a father who is one and convinced me to go.

WELL, apparently, my hips had been twisted in opposite directions somehow.  I have no idea how this happened, but that is what he told me.  After seeing the chiropractor a few times, it seemed to go away. It pretty much stayed gone until well into my first pregnancy, when I think it happened again due how you are forced to sleep while pregnant.

With my second pregnancy, my chiropractor suggested I get a memory foam mattress, and it NEVER happened again.  Plus, the mattress has completely eliminated all of my back pain due to scoliosis.  It has been a God send!

    Hope that helps!

BTW- Every time I travel and have to sleep on a spring mattress, it comes back until I have been sleeping at home for a few nights!

  4. Go to a chiropractor.

  5. my dad would say "walk it off".

  6. You need to tell your partner to lay off the butt area during s*x. That's all.

  7. ummm. Odd Question but u should see a doctor or just take a few advils.
