Sevilla manager, Marcelino Garcia Toral, has spoken in defence of Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, claiming that he cannot be blamed for the loss against Barcelona...
Real Madrid hosted their traditional foes, Barcelona, to play this season’s first El Clasico in the Spanish Primera. To the disappointment of the Real Madrid faithful, their team slumped to a 1-3 loss at Santiago Bernabeu.
Marcelino emphasized that Madrid’s failure against Barcelona was due to superior game-play of the Catalans. Consequently, he insisted that Jose Mourinho cannot be blamed for being unable to judge http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604’s tactics. In fact, he argued that the Portuguese
mentor should be credited for the improvement that Los Blancos have undergone this season.
He further discussed the match and established that the defeat at the hands of the current Spanish Champions cannot be used as a determinant in judging the overall performance of Jose Mourinho’s side this season.
Los Blancos were able to take the lead inside 25 seconds after kick-off, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350 scored the quickest goal in the history of El Clasico. Despite the early lead, the Whites were unable to prevent Barcelona from scoring as they managed to put 3 goals

Goals from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marcelo-c23554’s own goal was the turning point of the match as Los Blancos were hardly able to
recover after conceding the second.
While talking to AS, the Sevilla head coach was quoted as saying:
"I think not. The game was evenly matched until a point, but then was decided by a rival's superiority over the other. Barca's second goal, and especially the manner in which it happened, was a very hard moral blow."
The Spaniard also discussed the improvement which Real Madrid have shown since the last season. He established that Los Blancos are stronger than last season and claimed that Mourinho deserves to be applauded for his efforts.
"He [Mourinho] is a great coach, who has done very well in La Liga. He has enabled Madrid to compete with the current Barcelona, which is no mean feat," he stated.
Marcelino’s side will host Real Madrid this Saturday for this year’s last fixture in the Spanish Primera division.
