When I need to sew the opening of my pillows, I have a terrible time. It's hard to do with the machine. I'd rather not sew by hand, any tips?

  1. Hi Julia,

You can sew most of the opening, and just leave as little as possible that you have to hand sew.

If you don't want to do that, you could sew in a invisible zipper with your machine.

One last solution would be to make two covers for the pillow.  Leave both with one side open but with finished hems.  Then but your pillow in the first one.  Cover it with the second pillow cover by putting the open end into the cover first.  Your pillow cover will have an open side, but inside you will only see the first cover.

Hope one of these works for you.
