Question:

s*x Education! Should we teach them at a young age?

I got told about s*x education at the age of 5-6 by my mother. It is absolutely ridiculous that sexually active children don't know what they are doing! Who agrees with me? Should children, at the age of 10+, be told about the right and the wrong of sexual intercourse?

  1. Well, I wouldn't say thats the main problem with the public school system today as far as s*x education goes, but rather them teaching abstinence only s*x-ed!!! If teens/ adolescents are going to engage in s*x they should also teach them about forms of protection suchas condoms and such!

  2. i think that middle school (like 6th/7th grade) is the right age to learn about s*x ed. before that is too young to be mature without being scolded by the teacher, and any older and the kids are already having s*x.

and when you say right and wrong, i assume you mean educated about all options for s*x like birth control, not just abstinence. teaching only the latter is irresponsible and narrow-minded b.s. :)

  3. i think 5th-6th graders since you already hear about s*x and some myths already.  i dont understand "about the right and the wrong of sexual intercourse".  Do you mean like safe s*x and all the different kinds of protection and not just not having it like the people before me are saying?
