My boyfriend and I started to have s*x, about two months ago, we don't have it everyday, but overall we've deffinitly more than the average amount where the pain should now be gone. He asked his doctor and she said its semi abnormal, and that we could either keep trying, or that i see a doctor. We haven't had s*x for a few weeks because i'm a bit nervous somethings wrong, and i do have an appointment with a doctor, but in A MONTH! Do you think it would be okay to just keep trying and see if the pain goes away? What should we do! I want pleasurable s*x too!!!!

  1. Your problem might be essentially psychological. The more nervous and tense you are the more it'll hurt. When you're nervous your muscles get rigid, and then naturally it'll hurt. This condition is often called vaginismus. (the inability to relax during intercourse).This is treatable. This is only a possibility.  hope you feel better

  2. Is your boyfriend well-endowed? Where is the pain? Does it feel like a stretching pain? If not, I would just go to a doctor.

  3. Sometimes it takes a weeks, months, even years for your body to adjust to s*x. I don't want to discourage you, but each woman is different. It took me several months of very frequent s*x before it stopped hurting.

    Be sure to use plenty of lubricant (astroglide, KY). And please, please, please use protection (condoms)!

    Since you're sexually active, definitely do see a doctor one way or another as soon as you can, to rule out any infections and talk about birth control.

  4. probably your biggest problem is your expecting pain OR there is not enough foreplay

    i've been having s*x since april and its still painful sometimes once he first enters and when he pulls out.

    but my doctor said i'm fine and theres nothing to worry about just more foreplay and extra lube

    my main problem was i was expecting pain each time. then finally i stopped thinking about it and just let it happen. and guess what? NO PAIN!

  5. If you’re experiencing pain during or after s*x there may be several factors that are contributing to the pain you feel. For women there are a number of physical conditions that may make s*x hurt, including:

    * Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

    * Endometriosis

    * Ovarian cysts

    * Interstitial cystitis

    * Vaginismus

    * Vulvodynia

    * Some sexually transmitted diseases

    * Urinary infections

    * Yeast infections

    * Vaginal dryness

    * Physical injury and chronic pain

    I would recommend that if you experience pain during or after s*x that you consult with your doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation and to rule out any serious causes.

    Good luck :)
