Sexual Harassment at work…?

I currently am working a summer internship and know that I am getting sexually abused! I am a 21 year old male and I am harassed all day by my co-workers. From the minute I walk in the door I am called “Dick Nozzle” or slapped on the *** and told good game. It does not stop here my boss always talks about l*****g butt holes when I am around him and once he said that another co-intern “probably had a tight pooper.” This job is for a great company and I want to keep it and hopefully be employed full time after school- however when I asked about a possible “full time position,” my boss replied “your position is on all fours!” Then swore at me and left!!! What should I do?

  1. suck it up, and get down on all fours Pencil d**k!

  2. haha sounds like the humor from my area..

  3. Bring up a lawsuit, bring a mini tape recorder in your pocket let it do your work for you. But you seriously probably aren't going to want to be around that environment after you sue them since they're probably find an indirect way to fire you afterward.

  4. wtf?

  5. Well, if you report it then you will not be liked by them becuase it is possible that they could lose their job. What i would do is tell them to stop talking about the g*y jokes while your around or youll report it.

  6. First off.. everyone else who answered this question is wrong.. Here is what u do! First U put sleeping pills in everyones coffee. Then, after they fall asleep U cover their genitalia in peanut butter... After taking various pictures of yourself sitting on their faces while giving the thumbs up sign.. Invite local canines over to l**k and suck off the peanut butter.. Finally wipe your own poo in each of their mouths and ejaculate in their ears...just for fun.. when they wake up show them the pictures you took and call them g*y while u point at them and laugh.. then blackmail them with the pics unless u get a raise.. good luck d**k nozzle!

  7. This is known as "hostile environment" harassment.  First, start documenting each and every incident - dates, times, witnesses, everything you can remember.

Since your boss ( and most of your co-workers) are the problem, that leaves you with two avenues of recourse:  1)  your company's HR department if you have one, or 2)  the local equal employment opportunity office (find it as www.eeoc.gov)

Sexual harassment is illegal by definition - there is no "acceptable" level of harassment.  What these folks are doing is wrong, and the only way they will learn a lesson is if their victims start speaking up.  I bet there are others in the office who don't appreciate the constant innuendo either - if you know who they are, reach out to them.  There is always more strength in numbers.

    Best of luck to you.

  8. Yeah, its sexual harassment, but if you want a full time job there then charging them with sexual harassment isn't really going to help your cause much.  Normally you'd talk to the boss about this but he's worst of anyone (and probably the root cause of the problem) and I wouldn't go over his head, that couldn't end well.  I'd say either live with it or find a new job and quit.  Since you are receiving this treatment and yet still asked for a full time job I can't believe its such a big problem for you that you can't just ignore it, but yeah it is sexual harassment and this company will have problems over this some day.  If you do decide to quit you could ask a lawyer if there is anything you could/ should do because of this, but I think just quitting is the best answer (but don't quit until you have a new job in hand).

  9. the company normally has a line you can call for sexual harassment. Most companies will not tolerate sexual harassment. Find out who the big guy is. Like the company owner. the guy over your boss. Then talk to them about it.

  10. Seriously... Do you really want to work in a place like that after college?  If the answer for whatever reason is yes, file a complaint with human resources. They should be professional enough to handle the situation anonymously. If you are fired for reporting that or the situation is handled improperly you can easily take it to court and win. Harassment in the workplace has been a very serious issue in every company I worked for because of how easily someone could sue the company and ruin their reputation.

  11. Go above the bosses head to his supervisor - those people are putting the company at risk for a major lawsuit by you if they don't clean up their act - if your boss is the owner - report him to the EEO commission - you can probably sue him directly then - it can't be that great of a company with @ssholes like that working there - document everything that has happened to you and that you have observed being directed at other - nane names, etc.
