Question:

Sexual harassment?

I've had several incidents with this one (now former) co-worker. He recently moved to another department, so I (thankfully) don't see him everyday. But on a few outings with co-workers he was extremely aggressive and forward in a very sexual way. I never encouraged or invited such behavior, but I also never firmly asked him to stop.

None of his comments, uninvited back rubs (which I immediately made him stop), arm-around-my-waist, etc, happened at work. The other day, though, he came behind my back while I was not watching, as I was trying to cross a street on my lunch break, and pinched my waist.

Today something that I don't really have to describe happened involving him, which made me extremely upset because it showed he not only is a pig, but also insanely inconsiderate.

He makes me very uncomfortable, but after today's event I thought for the first time of reporting him at work.

Do you think any of this is really borderline sexual harassment or am I just overreacting

  1. Report it. If a woman tries to 'brush' me away but doesn't make any voice-outs telling me to stop, I will think she is flirting with me.
