<p><strong>The Partenopei are looking towards the CSKA Moscow striker as a replacement for the outgoing Ezequiel Lavezzi, and have placed a lucrative bid for the highly rated player.</strong></p>
<p>Napoli could be the next destination for Seydou Doumbia, after Napoli have placed a bid of £14.5 million to acquire the services of the start striker.</p>
<p>The Partenopei recently sold a key member of their attacking trio, Ezequiel Lavezzi to Paris Saint-Germain in a high profile transfer, and are in the marker to find a replacement for El Pocho.</p>
<p>The Azzurri have bid an attractive £14.5 million to sign the services of the Cote d'Ivoire international, however, the sum may still not be enough to lure the star striker into a move away from Russian Premier League and land in Serie A.</p>
<p>CSKA Moscow have a high evaluation of Doumbia and demanded a sum of €30m million for the attacker, before lowering the price to €25m which is still a far cry from Napoli’s current offer.</p>
<p>Although both the clubs have a lot of distance in terms of money between them, but they could come closer to an agreement as they meet together in the follow up to the earlier meeting.</p>
<p>The Partenopei could scoop the CSKA Moscow striker for a price of around €22 million, but the fate of the negotiation remains to be seen.</p>
<p>Doumbia was included in the squad of the Army Men after a transfer from Swiss side Young Boys, and has evolved into a key player for the Russian outfit.</p>
<p>The African striker was named the Russian player of the season after a tremendous season with CSKA Moscow, which saw him score a wonderful 45 goals in the 58 competitive appearances for his side.</p>
<p>The tremendous form in front of the opposition’s goal also saw him crowned the Russian Golden Boot winner, where he scored seven more goals than his closest rival on the scoring charts.</p>
<p>Seydou Doumbia is also as adept playmaker having made 11 assists throughout the last Russian Premier League season, and could prove to be a perfect replacement for Napoli’s Ezequiel Lavezzi in the Azzurri’s famed trio of attackers.</p>
