Im Depressed, i live in las vegas and im thinking about gambling because people say its fun and yea. My friend suggusted this and he said you could get rich doing this. Is it true?? Ive wasted my life on video games for 10 years. Now id like to become an adult plz!

I love to gamle...I do it for fun...I do not play when I am depressed...that is how you will lose more money...if you are depressed you need help first...then gamble...good luck

Casino gaming is for fun.  Do not expect or even hope to win a lot.  It is called recreational gaming.  You cannot realistically expect to win lot, although you can have a good time for little expense and there is a chance you will even come out ahead if you know your games.  Some people have fun with casino games.  Some people just become more depressed as a result.  You get out of the game what you put into it.  

I live in Las Vegas.  I have worked in casino gaming for 20 years.  I know how to play for fun and I know how to gamble and I know the difference between the two.  

If you are over 21, have some disposable income, and some free time, you can learn to play the games and enjoy them.  You may never become rich doing it, But you can have a good time.

i suggest that if u do gamble play somethin like texas hold'em poker because u can make money that way. however i suggest u start by playing online for free so u learn the game nd get better but then aftr a while start to play online with small amounts of money and on some sites like ultimate bet u can win free tournament and get some real money like 9 bucks or on other free tournaments they have u can win trips to the world series of poker or to the best d**n poker show or anythin like that so try that and it is fun and u can also have like 20 games with ur friends at ur house which can be a lot of fun because i can have a few friends over have a 20 dollar poker tournament and hey maybe order pizza or somethin nd its cheaper than a normal night at a club or sometin and u can win some money. hope this helps nd if u want some more info send me a yahoo messenger sg its the same as this screen name o nd dont play for too much money too fast or that culd lead down a bad bad bad path

Don't gamble it's more likely you'll accumulate huge debt and it can be an addiction.I think that you should take that money you wanted to spend on gambling and go help out society by voulentering it's a lot better way to solve depression then compulsive gambling.Also gambling doesn't make you more of an adult it is acutaly a very immature way to spend your money.

gmabling can be very fun and entertaining is you play it for the play fo the game, the problem gambling comes when peopel play with large amounts of money that shouldnt even be uses solely for entertainment purposes.

You can play roullette for dollar chips and blackjack for very small amounts expecially if its video blackjack you can play 25 cents per hand all for fun and get free drinks while you play.

You could even learn to become a professional gambler and flip the odds on the house if you learn to play blackjack or flip the odds on other players if you learn to play poker.

I think you shoudl not avoid the casinos environment and that you should experience it at leats once in your life as i thnk they are very fun places in general, just dont bet over your head and dont chase your losses.  If you win go home, and if you lose go home, don make repeated trips to the atm betting higher and higher.

In every casino game except for poker, blackjack, and sports betting, you are almost certain to lose in the long run.  It is possible to have the odds in your favor in blackjack if you count cards and adjust your bets to take advantage of it, but you will probably get banned from the casinos if they catch you doing that.  It is possible to win in poker in the long run, but only if you are an extremely good poker player, and it is hard to get that good.  It is also possible to win in sports betting in the long run, but you need to be really objective (don't bet on your favorite teams), and you really need to do a lot of work and study to learn about the teams.  So the bottom line is that it is very unlikely that you will win money from gambling, and you will probably lose money.  So gambling will likely be just as much of a waste of time as playing video games, but it will be worse because you will probably lose money.

I think should contact some video games companies and try to get a job as a video games tester.

i think its fun but when you go, you need to remember that your going there to spent money, not to make it, if you do win that makes it so much better. you prolly wont get rich, but just go to have fun and you will.
