Speaking to the media reporters on the eve of the match, the talented http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jharkhand-c800 left-arm spinner said that he will be bowling against the legendary batsman for the first time in a competitive game and it has put additional pressure
on him, going into the match.
"I have bowled against Sachin paaji in the nets during IPL 3 but I will be bowling against him for the first time in a competitive game. Of course there is additional pressure but I know that I have to perform well," said Nadeem during
a media encounter in Delhi on Thursday.
The 22-year-old left-arm orthodox bowler has been a surprise package for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/V-Sehwag-c2739 this season. Though the left-hander has claimed just six wickets in seven games he has played for Daredevils so far this season, his economy
rate of less than six an over has been impressive.
The Bihar spinner, however, is not sure his bowling strategies would work as such against the little batting maestro, Sachin Tendulkar.
"Can anyone succeed by just having a particular strategy against a batsman of his calibre? My only job will be to perform to the best of my abilities," said the Daredevils spin bowler when asked if he had some plans up his sleeves
for the veteran.
The 22-year-old Jharkhand lad also revealed that the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s skipper and the former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DL-Vettori-c1384, is his idol, and he looks towards him for improvement.
"Vettori is my idol. I grew up watching him. I could not get chance to meet him but I would love to seek some tips from the great bowler," said Nadeem.
He also praised Virender Sehwag’s captaincy, saying he is an inspirational player as well as a captain who always keeps on motivating youngsters.
