Flamboyant Pakistan all-rounder and former captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Afridi-c2482, has praised the role of interim coach Mohsin Khan in keeping the environment of Pakistan cricket team's dressing room positive and cheery.
While talking to the media reporters on Friday, Afridi said that the interim coach has got very good communication with the players and reckoned it as one realistic reason behind http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 cricket team’s brilliant performance lately.
Afridi said that Mohsin, the former chief selector of Pakistan Cricket Board, is handling the team very well and the players are giving performances in return.
"http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohsin-c77587 communicates well with the players, treats the seniors with respect and manages things well. It felt good to play for Pakistan again in a more positive and cheery environment," said Afridi.
Afridi had retired from international cricket in May earlier this year, after a rift with PCB chief http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Waqar-Younis-Maitla-c96193, following the West Indies tour.
The problem had arisen when Afridi blamed Waqar Younis for creating problems within the team during the One Day series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 in West Indies earlier this year. Afridi had blamed Waqar for bringing out the best in the players.
However, the prolific all-rounder came out of self imposed exile after Younis stepped down from coaching role and Zaka http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ashraf-c46397 took over as the new PCB chairman.
Afridi’s first appearance after coming out of the retirement was against Sri Lanka last month, where he had delivered a couple of match winning performances both with the bat and ball. He was also adjudged as the Man of the Series for the five-match ODI

Besides Mohsin, Afridi also praised Misbah-ul-Haq’s leadership qualities and expressed confidence in his captaincy techniques.
Pakistan, after outclassing Sri Lanka in all the three formats of the game in UAE last month, clean swept http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 in three-match ODI series. Afridi said that the victories have boosted the morale of side.
"I think winning has given the players lot of confidence and they have got the momentum. A win is a win no matter what the opposition," he said.
