Pakistani heartthrob cricketer and former team captain, Shahid Afridi, was recently signed up by the Melbourne Renegades for the upcoming Australian Big Bash League. Afridi will be joined by team-mate Abdul Razzaq as the two take the squad to a 16 members
list from a total of 18.
The Big Bash will be owned and controlled by Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 (CA) and is set to take off in mid-December this year. The domestic league will feature city-based teams rather than state based. According to rules set out by CA, each team will be allowed to
pick four international players in the squad.
As for the Pakistani duo, Afridi and Razzaq were recently finalized by James Brayshaw, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mal-Loye-c1879 for the Melbourne Renegade, who is also heading the Melbourne Football Club. The two additions to the Renegade team bring the side to a total of 16 players
with two more vacant spots.
The former Pakistani skipper expressed his enthusiasm after gaining a chance to team up with Razzaq. Afridi stated that it was an opportunity that he could not turn down despite having better monetary offers from other teams.
As part of the Melbourne Renegades, Razzaq will be making his debut performance in Australian domestic cricket.

On the other hand, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Razzaq-c84421 comes in with an aggressive batting style coupled with fair medium paced bowling. The player too has earned a good record in the Twenty20 (T20) version of cricket.
