"I have ended my contract in the Big Bash league, because I want to play in the national event to improve my form and justify my selection in the team," said Afridi, a veteran of 177 Twenty20 games.
Earlier in the day, the Pakistan Cricket Board spokesman told media reporters that the board had allowed the trio to play in the second season of the Big Bash League (BBL) following a request from Australian cricket authorities.
"We will allow these players to go to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nadeem-Sarwar-c78422 told AFP, adding that the players would be bound to return home in time to join the national camp for India tour, in mid-December.
The flamboyant Pakistan all-rounder, who is best known for his fastest ODI century, off just 37 balls, has also had T20 stints with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Australia-c844 and Melbourne Renegades in the past.
Meanwhile, the organisers at Australian Big Bash league have cancelled http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Umar-Akmal-c94595’s contract with Sydney Sixers. Sources have claimed that Akmal’s contract was cancelled after PCB allowed him to play only one or two matches, while he had initially agreed to play five BBL fixtures for the Sixers.
