Shahid Afridi delays his ODI retirement – Cricket News Update
Former Pakistan skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Afridi-c2482 on Tuesday revealed that he has delayed his ODI retirement plans till after India-Pakistan series, to be held at former’s backyard later this year.

Shahid Afridi, the 32-year-old Pakistan all-rounder who is best known for scoring fastest One Day International century, off just 37 balls, had last month hinted at bidding farewell to the fifty overs format of the game, following a dismal performance against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758.
"People expect a lot from senior players, so I must sincerely review my (ODI) performance," Afridi had said on his return home last month, after the T20 and ODI series loss to Sri Lanka. "I want to step aside for new players, so that Pakistan can build a good team for the 2015 World Cup,” he added further.
But now, the stylish right-hander batsman and a promising leg-spin bowler, has delayed his decision until the limited-overs series against arch-rivals India, in December-January. Afridi reportedly said that pressure will be too high in the matches against India, and the team would need more experienced players as part of the squad to stand up in the pressure games.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), had earlier this month agreed to host http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 in a short limited overs series, comprising three One Day Internationals and two T20 Internationals, in December January.
This will be the first bilateral series between the two Asian cricketing giants since 2007, though the teams have played each other in the World Cup semifinal last year, and in several Asia Cup fixtures as well.
