After a great support from ex-players and cricket fans, for former captain, Shahid Afridi, Pakistani politicians have also joined the party and termed the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 Cricket Board (PCB) irrational.
Dr. Farooq Sattar, the deputy convener of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) thinks that the former all-rounder must be given a chance in a respectful manner to play for Pakistan.
The Parliamentary leader of MQM, which is one of the leading political parties in Pakistan, has criticised PCB in a statement.
He said the PCB did not handle the Afridi’s case appropriately, as it was unfair with the national hero.
Earlier, former skipper, Afridi said goodbye to cricket in protest of PCB’s decision to sack him without consulting him.
He complained while announcing his conditional retirement that PCB was not giving him respect and has humiliated him.
"There is nothing bigger than a man's respect, and the way the board has treated me, there is a limit to everything", he stated.
The 31-year old all-rounder has strongly criticised Pakistan Cricket Board for treating him disrespectfully and refused to play under the current management.
"I will not play under this board. If a different board comes in, I will definitely return but I cannot play under this board. When you have been humiliated like this, by dishonourable people, what is the point in playing on”, he added.
Ex-Pakistan players and cricket lovers have also been criticised PCB http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ijaz-Butt-c64128, for taking controversial steps and running cricketing matters unintelligently.
Butt also faced heavy criticism when he removed Boom Boom Afridi from captaincy without any reason, and appointed 37-year old, Test skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Misbah-ul-Haq-Khan-Niazi-c76385, as captain of Pakistan's limited overs team for the two-match One Day International series against

The hard-hitting batsman, who was in America to see his hospitalized father, was under nerve breaking shock after losing the captaincy.
