The former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 one-day captain Shahid Afridi has been summoned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to stand before a three-member disciplinary committee on June 8, 2011.
The committee has been formed by the PCB, to look into the events leading to the code of conduct violation by the former skipper, which caused the PCB to suspend his central contract and revoke the NOC required by the player to play foreign league cricket.
According to sources, the three member committee consists of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Shafiq-Ahmed-c77308 (general manager of domestic cricket) and Usman Wahla (manager of international cricket).
Afridi has, however, already admitted that he had violated the code of conduct talking to the media without the consent of the PCB.

The committee will record statements of the individuals involved in debacle, look into the facts and evidence before giving their judgement. It has been clarified that the flamboyant all-rounder will be given full opportunity to defend
his case and will be allowed to make an appeal against the judgment of the disciplinary committee in front of an independent tribunal, if he deems the judgement of the committee inappropriate.
However, he will not be allowed to further challenge the ruling of the appellate tribunal.

the team was improving.

Earlier, he had blamed Ijaz Butt’s bitter attitude towards him which left him with no option but to bid farewell to international cricket.
