The http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sahibzada-Mohammad-Shahid-Khan-Afridi-c87933’s case is resolved on the basis of any political pressure, adding that he is neither a politician, nor, does he have any connection with political bodies.
Butt asserted that he made the decision solely in the interest of Pakistan cricket.
The one month long tension between Afridi and PCB came to an end after a closed door meeting between the retired captain and embattled chairman in Islamabad.
Although, PCB refused to provide inside details of the meeting, the positive outcome was the settlement of the matter. It was agreed that PCB will issue a non-objection certificate (NOC) to Afridi to play abroad, while the former cricketer will withdraw
his petition filed against the board in the Sindh High Court, and, will appear before the disciplinary committee.
"We have received the copy of the court order confirming withdrawal of the case by Afridi and also that he is ready to face disciplinary proceedings now", PCB Chief Operating Officer confirmed.
While talking to the media, Butt said that he could not attend the disciplinary hearing, due to some personal engagements and expressed hope that all circumstances would be resolved.
The aggressive all-rounder, who earlier had denied appearing before the disciplinary committee meeting on the basis that the meeting was not going to be held by an independent tribunal, is set to face the PCB hearing, which will be headed by Director Domestic

The meeting will be closed door, where Afridi’s lawyer will not accompany him. Reports have revealed that during the proceedings, the former leg-spinner will be given the NOC for making his participation possible in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hampshire-c789 Twenty20 tournament, while
