The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 Cricket Board (PCB), Subhan Ahmed, has stated that if anyone will violate their code of conduct, then PCB will surely take disciplinary action.
"Our viewpoint remains clear that Afridi or any other player/official has to submit to the disciplinary process if they have breached any provision of their Central Contract, or, the code of conduct for players”,  Ahmed stated.
The COO has also stressed that PCB has never compromised on discipline, that’s why they have disciplinary process to follow if anyone violate rules.
"As far as we are concerned no player or official is above the rules of the board. If anyone breaches the code of conduct he has to face a disciplinary process".
Meanwhile, he confirmed that the disciplinary action against the star all-rounder was according to the board’s procedure.
Ahmed also noted that the PCB was not trying to prove anything, they were supposed to formulate a disciplinary committee in Afridi’s case.
"And once http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-c89347 did that the board held its disciplinary hearing and the committee accordingly heard him out and announced its recommendations", he added.
Earlier, Shahid Afridi refused to play under the existing cricket board, and announced his shocking retirement from the international cricket.
While announcing his retirement in the media, former captain has used cruel language for the governing body of cricket in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the PCB cancelled Afridi’s central contract and all No-objection certificates (NOC) to play abroad, and summoned the former skipper for a disciplinary hearing.
However, Boom Boom Afridi rejected the decision, which was imposed by the PCB, and filed a petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC) against the cricket board.
But, the former captain has withdrawn his petition from the SHC in the process of negotiation with the cricket board.
Eventually, the former captain appeared in front of the committee, admitted his mistake, but refused to apologise.
However, the committee charged him $52,300 for breaching the clauses of his central contract, and recommended PCB to restore his NOC to play English country http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hampshire-c789.
"The NOC was issued to Shahid immediately on the recommendations of the disciplinary committee which felt that after his admittance of guilt and fine he could go and play for Hampshire", said Ahmed.
