Former Pakistan captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Khan-c89402 Afridi, is excited about playing cricket once again and said that he wants to do well in county cricket to give a good name to Pakistan cricket internationally.
Boom Boom has faced a very tough time off the field recently as he was removed from Pakistan’s limited overs captaincy after violating the code of conduct prescribed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
In response to that, Afridi announced conditional retirement from international cricket and said that he will no longer play international cricket under the regime of the present PCB officials. His No Objection Certificates (NOC’s) to play professional cricket
outside Pakistan were later cancelled by PCB.
However, the matter has been temporarily solved as PCB has given the NOCs to Afridi to represent Hampshire in the Friends Life T20 competition in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013.
The all-rounder vowed to perform well in county cricket for Hampshire in order to enhance Pakistan’s image.
Afridi said, “I would http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Arthur-Percival-Day-c45927 that I am getting a chance to play for Hampshire because wherever I play at the end of the day I am recognized as a Pakistani and

The 31-year-old Afridi stormed into the International scene in 1996, when he struck the fastest century in the history of One Day International (ODI) cricket in only his second match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758, at Nairobi.
Since then, he has represented Pakistan in 27 Test matches and 325 ODIs. However, the cricket fans have witnessed the peak of Afridi’s career since the last five years, as he has emerged as one of the most effective bowlers in limited overs cricket.
Former Pakistan captain expressed that he has gone through a lot in recent times but now he is looking forward at the future.
“I have not been able to train. It has been difficult to focus on cricket. But now I have put everything behind me and want to make a fresh start to my career with this stint for Hampshire," he said.
