Shakespeare - The Tempest help. ?

Question

I really don't understand the tempest, I mean, I've read it and didn't get it at all, then I read wikipedia and still don't get it.

I really need to know because nobody will tell me!

Could somebody please explain it to me in easy to understand terms.
