Shakespeare board game ideas?

I need to make a Shakespeare-themed board game for school...it needs to have questions involving Shakespeare's life and the contexts of some of his plays. It seems so complicated, I don't even know where to start. Does anyone creative have any ideas that can start me off?

  1. Make a trivia game. A Trivial Pursuit or Jeopardy! style game would work. All you need to do is write the questions/answers.

    Here's a sample Jeopardy! answer/question:

    Category: Famous Families

A: In this play all of his family member's names end in vowels, hers in consonants.

Q: What is Romeo and Juliet

  2. Board with locations where scenes took place, pieces are for major characvters in the play, dice, etc...

  3. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/3606

This is the Avalon Hill board game that I have.  This site has pictures of the game board and a copy of the rules.  You can use any configuration for your board, a die or spinner for movement, cards with questions, and a goal to reach for the win.

  4. hey here's an idea: make 6 players of his famous plays:

Othello, romeo and Juliet, hamlet , Macbeth, king Lear

make a board ,i think it would be cool to have a question in each "step". also if it was mine,I'd make box no12 "twelfth night box" .

    questions would be like ...

where was William Shakespeare born, what is the name of the merchant of Venice and so on...just read his biography, this site has all info on him ,you can put questions that no one else will have!

    http://www.shakespeare-online.com/biogra...

also ,try this site for his plays: http://www.absoluteshakespeare.com/plays...

these are the ideas i have for you..i hope they give you ideas and help you on your  assignment:)

  5. get pick up a card and then it tells your what shakespeare dance you should do
