Shakhtar Donetsk beat AS Roma 3-0 in the second leg of the last 16 round of UEFA Champion’s League at the Donbass Arena on Tuesday evening. Shakhtar qualify for the quarter finals after winning 6-2 on aggregate basis, as they won 3-2 in the first leg at
the Stadio Olimpico two weeks ago.

Just on the stroke of half time, Phillipe Mexes received his marching orders after being shown his second yellow card of the evening for a foul on Adriano. The hosts doubled their lead just before the hour mark, when Willian curled a beautiful shot in the
top corner to make it 2-0 for Shakhtar. Roma failed to hold onto to possession for longer periods and could not create scoring opportunities. The visitors were outnumbered in the midfield battle as the hosts took full advantage of an extra man.
Just before the full time whistle, the hosts added another goal to their evening’s tally. Former Arsenal man Eduardo da Silva robbed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniele-De-Rossi-c10112 in possession and finished his shot calmly past the goalkeeper to seal the tie 3-0.
