Shakib Al Hasan axed as Bangladesh skipper – Cricket News Update

Talking to a local Bangladeshi newspaper in this regard, the modest Hasan stated, “I am surprised by the sudden decision but I am not shocked. I can take things easy which is my strength. The board definitely took this decision for betterment of the game,
so I must accept it.”
Hasan’s axing as the premier of the team came especially after the recent disappointing tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 to Zimbabwe.
The touring side, which had claimed itself to have an edge over a seven years exiled Zimbabwean Test team, suffered a 130-run defeat.
The team then faced a streak of defeats at the final spell of 5 One Day International (ODI) series where the Zimbabwean hosts earned a 3-2 win.
