Of course train kids with mental r****d, they need your help, high school students can find another English teacher, there are still many people that wanted to be an English teacher..... Mental r****d kids need you.......

Special Education is a very demanding but equally rewarding profession.  If you are going to pursue it, your heart must be in it 100%.  It is a lot of work!!!!  I would make a pros and cons list, then pick the best choice.
