Shall I use a wooden or metal chicken coop for my hens?

I have a old steel chicken coop in my garden. Should I leave it like that or cover all the insides with wood to make it nicer?

It doesnt matter as long as you have a safe area. Easter or. If you add wood it wouldnt be as hard as wire.

Metal gets too hot for keeping chickens, a wooden building is better.

I would use the metal chicken wire since this would stand up longer than the wood fences.

  IF it were me I would put the wood on the inside.  It helps to keep the temperature in the hen house/coop more tolerable in heat or cold.

  I built my henhouse and after I put up the outer walls I put in the inner walls and it is wonderful winter or summer.

  I have a large door on the South side of that hen house so I can go in and gather eggs.  That same door has a screen door on the inside so I can leave that door open in good weather.

  On the East side of the building I have the small door that I can close anytime I want so the chickens can come and go.
