I have just got my as results of which i got an A and 3 C's which i'm not too happy about. I'm going to drop to 3 so i can boost my grades but i don't know which to drop. I really like art but i'm quite an academic person and am worried that this will not reflect well. I find french difficult but its a highly regarded subject in the working world. I am going to do psychology at uni which i got my A so i'm not worried about that, which do you think i should go for and why?

Thanks

  1. You should keep the one your most passionate about. I would keep french even though its hard because knowing another language will take you farther in life.

  2. Depends what career you're thinking off,  You should have a chat with your teachers and they could tell you best.  Your grades aren't so bad though, don't beat yourself up.

  3. FRENCH!Dude think about it.If u know more languges then u will have a better work when u grow up!

  4. Honestly I have to say that French is better if you want to get into college, art is not highly regarded.  It depends which grade your in. You should take a sport because colleges look for a well rounded person.  School clubs are good too

  5. If you want to do psychology at Uni, then I personally would keep up the French...neither of them are directly related to Psychology but  am reckoning that the Universities would consider French A Level over Art A Level if came down to a split between the two.....the University I attended certainly considered French over Art for those types of course.

I'd recommend giving the Universities you are interested in and see what they think would be best??

    Good luck either way!

  6. if you're taking psychology at uni then i'm guessing you want to be a psychologist, in which case you won't need french so keep art!

  7. What do you want and enjoy?

  8. If your into Art go for it....I learnt Latin,French and German at school, and none of it has ever been any use, eccept to order a meal in France.

  9. Girl, Learn FRENCH.  When I was young i began learning Italian but dropped out very early.  I totally regret it especially when I was in Italy this past month!  It would of been so awesome to use my Italian in Italy but I foolishly dropped out of it.   Thats my only regret in life!

  10. which one do u enjoy most?...theres your answer

  11. Art is a great fun subject and I do Fine Art myself, I got all A's. But I think French is more important because if you get good at that, you can get any job and is valuable for if you ever go on holiday to France or meet a french boyfriend or something. And you could also get a job in France.

  12. french is only importajt depending on what you want to do when you grow up.  if you want to be a big business person, it can be useful, but if you want to be a software engineer, who cares?  talk to someone in your desired field.
