Shall i get madden nfl 09 for the PS3?

i just want a different game really to add to my collection! i dont know the rules about american football but it looks pretty decent and yeah is it worth getting for the PS3?

Yes it is a very good game. I have experienced a little bit of choppiness though but that has been on both versions even though everyone says it doesn't do it on the 360 but thats just the stereotype in everyone. This game though is the best Madden that has come out in a long long time. I think you will really like American Football. Have fun and enjoy.

Yeah why not its very interesting playing them type of games also look at nba you might like that much better

Im probably very bias, because I love madden and I love football.  But By far this is the best madden to date.  First of all it runs at a smooth 60 fps.  Unlikes last years which did not.  Also being that you are a first time player this year is actually an excellent year to get it because of the new My skill feature which keeps the game play level to where you are at.  making it easy enough for newcomers, while slowly increasing the gameplay level as you get better.  Graphics are awesome and so far I have been having a great time playing it.  For more detail info about the game here is the review.  http://ps3.ign.com/articles/898/898077p1...
