Shampoo for gray or silver hair.?

Question

I used a shampoo for gray or silver hair and it left a terrible stain where I set my shampoo in the bathtub. The shampoo is purple in the bottle. I have tried 2-3 different types of cleansers and it just won't come out. Anyone have any suggestions about what I should try next?

Several times I saw mention of using a Magic Eraser from Mr. Clean (?)  Apparently they've had better success with that than I have.  Wouldn't it be great if it worked for you!
