  1. Yeah you could use ferret shampoo, you could even use regular hand shampoo.

  2. Ferret Shampoo completly safe, you can also use basic dog shampoos as well. Guinea pigs look so cute when they swim. Just fill you tub or sink or where ever u r gonna wash it,  up with an inch or 2 of water and then bathe.  BEWARE they p**p alot while in the water.

  3. small amounts of  baby shampoo

every time you wash them in my experience

    its good.

  4. Yes, any shampoo designated for small animals is fine.

There is a company in the UK that sells wonderful shampoos made *especially* for guinea pigs. I have ordered from them in the past & their products are fabulous!

Guinea pigs don't need regular bathing--they do a really good job of cleaning themselves! I don't bathe my piggies unless I absolutely must, mostly bum baths for long haired sows or bum baths for dirty grease glands, so the shampoo has lasted me a long time.

  5. ya u can use that

  6. what the heck, guinea pigs?

  7. Yes, ferret shampoo would be safe for a guinea pig.  Anything safe for kittens is safe.

  8. well i dont think ferret shampoo will hurt them, but it wont help them either. i guess you could use it, but i prefer guinea pig shampoo.

  9. My vet actually suggested i use baby shampoo. its very light and wont burn the eyes. Ive only bathed her once but it didnt seem to cause any damage.
