Shan Van Voct favourite for 500m A3 Heat at Sheffield – Greyhound Racing Preview
Shan Van Voct is likely to deliver a dominating performance in a 500 metre long Grade A3 Heat at Sheffield. According to the schedule, the party is due to begin at 13:44. In pursue of a cash prize of £89, six quality hounds will show their magic on
a flat track.
Following is the line-up for this exciting event.
Shan Van Voct
Carrigeen Ted
Ailigra
Kildare Smiler
Precious Gem
Cu Na Ri
The punters declare someone favourite considering the hound’s recent performances. However, the situation is slightly different this time, as Shan Van Voct, who finished fifth in her last race, is the centre of attention at the moment.
There are quite a few reasons behind Shan Van Voct’s support. According to the betting forecast, the b***h is enjoying the highest starting price of 5 to 2.
The brindle b***h is currently fresh, and full of momentum after a week of good preparations. She holds the ability to be successful at this level and therefore, it is tough to overlook her.
The Bookmakers are showing interest in Ballymac Maeve’s daughter, out of Sparta Bluebell, and all she needs to do is break swiftly, and maintain an early speed.
Carrigeen Ted, and Ailigra are likely to give the rampant b***h hard time. The two hounds are evenly matched, and either of them can upset the proceedings. As per the betting forecast, Carrigeen Ted, and Ailigra are awarded with the winning chances
of 7 to 2, each.
In his previous race on February 7, Carrigeen Ted made an early impression, but got crowded afterwards. As a result, he could only seal third position. Tyrur Ted’s son, out of Finally Arrived can play a part in the race, but consistency will be required
for that.
Ailigra will start the action from the red box. The black dog has shown a number of good performances in his career, but is yet to adjust at this level. Despite his fourth position in the last race, his connections are pretty hopeful of a good outcome.
The black dog is well capable of unleashing an extraordinary performance.
Kildare Smiler, and Precious Gem are mighty talented hounds, likely to add a lot of drama to the heat. However, they will have to battle hard in order to make an impact.
After a brilliant performance at the start of this month, Precious Gem lost a bit of her momentum, ending up fourth in her previous race. The b***h is yet to learn the art of avoid getting crowded, and that might be her only weak point.
On the other hand, Kildare Smiler will also fancy her chances. The white and blue b***h has not been producing winning results over the last couple of weeks, but that does not take anything away from the dangerous b***h.
Cu Na Ri, is holding the least winning probability in the contest. The black dog is stepping in with a victory to his credit, but would not be one of the more fancied runners against this line-up. M O'Donnell’s
trainee has been given the odds of 9 to 2 - the lowest in the heat.
Prediction
There is no reason why, Shan Van Voct, should not have a good run tonight. The blue b***h is bettors’ darling at the moment, but Carrigeen Ted, and Ailigra are geared up to challenge her.
