Shane Mott looking forward to his Lord’s debut
The hero of the former Darkes League and the current all-rounder of Holland, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shane-Mott-c89681, is quite happy ahead of his first big game at the home of cricket, Lord’s.
He will be playing against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Middlesex-c817 in the ongoing English County Cricket season. Mott has personated an instrumental role in his side’s victories against Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
Mott was the hero of the Huddersfield Darkes League in 2009. Representing Scholes, he gave several stellar performances in the tournament and steered his side to claim the league title.
Expressing his pleasure ahead of the weakened game, Mott says, “I never dreamed that I would be playing at Lord’s when I came over here just a couple of weeks ago.” He further elaborated, “It was a bit of a shock when I found out, but a very nice one at
the same time, and it is certainly an opportunity I am happy to take.”
Mott has been in good spirit and form during the ongoing season. He contributed 50 against Yorkshire and 35 against Derbyshire to the winning cause last week.
He also took some key wickets. He is doing well with both bat and ball. Commenting about his last show up, he says, “The match against Yorkshire was fantastic. I was really pleased.”
Mott finished up Sydney 1st Grade cricket as the leading wicket taker last winter. He got a County slot through his agent. Mott initially came here for his commitments with Hawkesbury Club but found a chance with the Holland.

Mott will pad up to play against Bangor tomorrow and will show up against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sussex-c852 on Monday, but he is more jubilant about his Sunday clash.
