Former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne has expressed his confidence in the Australian team’s current line-up for their ODI tour of England, insisting that they have what it takes to make a considerable dent in England’s confidence prior to the 2012/2013 Ashes series.
“I believe this Australian team will give England something to think about before the Ashes next summer in England,” Warne wrote recently in the Telegraph.
The upcoming 5 ODIs mark the first bilateral series the two teams will be playing following the 2010/2011 Ashes, which culminated in an embarrassing defeat for the Aussies on home ground.
