Veteran Australia leg-spinner http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in July-August.
Earlier this week, the 43-year-old leg-spin great had said that he was disappointed with the way the Australian bowlers had let down their skipper Michael Clarke during the 309-run crushing at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 in Perth, adding that if the incumbent asked him to come out of retirement he would be able to play to Test standards.
However, with the Australian media buzzing about a possible comeback, Warne clarified his comments declaring that he was "not even considering" such a move in the lead-up to next year's Ashes series in England.
In a bid to make a Test return, the Victorian leg-spinner, who remains Australia's highest ever Test wicket-taker with 708 scalps from 145 appearances, would have to go back to club cricket and prove himself in Sheffield Shield, but Warne said on Thursday that it was not something he was considering.
While speaking to media reporters, Warne said that he had spoken to the Australian skipper during the week to clear up any confusion.
"I spoke to Pup on a few different matters. That's all been pretty cleared up about all that sort of stuff," Warne said at a media conference today, Thursday, December 6, 2012.
"I'm not asking http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MJ-Clarke-c1978. My quotes were all about if you ask me could I do it, I have no doubt that I could. But it's a big commitment. For me it's nothing that I'm even considering," reiterated the former Australian leggie.
The 43-year-old legspin great rather said that his focus was purely on his Big Bash League stint with the Melbourne Stars in December-January, where he will be leading the Stars.
"I'm bowling as good as I possibly have for the last five or six years. At this stage right now if you ask me do I want to make a comeback? No. I'm concentrating on the Big Bash," concluded the leg-spinner, who played 194 ODIs and 145 Tests for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 before quitting international cricket in 2007.
