Shane Warne reveals proudest moment of his life
The legendary Australia leg-spinner, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adam-Richard-Griffith-c41953 screen of the historic Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on the first day of his international debut.
The 41-year old http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Victoria-c859 spinner, who made his Test debut on 2 January, 1992, against India at SCG, said that he experienced the proudest moment of his life when he walked out at the SCG on the eve of January 2, 1992, and the big screen in the stadium flashed:
"Congratulations to Shane Warne, Australia's 350th Test cricketer".
Asked about the finest moment of his life, the leg-spin prodigy of International cricket said that it was the moment when they had won the Ashes urn the next year of his international debut, the 1993 Ashes series, which Australia won 4-1.
However, his biggest regret was http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760, Warne said that it was a “cracking
series” for him.
"We were just two runs http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians.
“And then his great mate http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Curtly-Elconn-Lynwall-Ambrose-c51793 rolled us at Perth. I think he took seven wickets for one run at one point. That was a cracking series though", he added.
Warne made his Test debut in January 1992, against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 at Sydney Cricket Ground. In his 145 Test appearances, he picked up
708 wickets at an average of 25.41 and an economy rate of 2.65.
The right-arm leg-break googly specialist debuted in the One Day format of the game in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754, and claimed 293 scalps from 194 One Day International appearances.
