Shane Warne says Goodbye to Cricket
The Australian legend, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shane-Keith-Warne-c89672, played his last match as a professional cricketer on May 20, 2011.
He represented the Rajasthan Royals franchise in his last match, against the formidable, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians.
He was very pleased with the way he contributed to the game of cricket and especially to the Australian cricket team. He has requested his countrymen not to force him to make a comeback in the game.
"I'm happy and ready to go," the 41-year-old said in his column in the Sunday Herald Sun newspaper.
His side complemented him in his last match by winning it with a comprehensive margin of 10 wickets.

Warne took part in 13 matches of the IPL this season, and claimed 13 wickets at an average of 22.84 runs per wicket with the best of 3 for 16 runs.
He anticipated that there might be some circles who would love to see him in action again and watch him mesmerize batsmen with his mastery over spin bowling.
The Australian team has not been able to find a bowler who could fill his gap.

Warne represented Australia in 145 Test matches and grabbed 708 wickets at an average of 25.41 runs. His best figures are 8 for 71 in an innings and 12 for 128 in a match.
With 293 wickets in One Day International matches and 59 wickets in T20 cricket, Warne has amply proven his bowling prowess.
