According to the magazine, Watson has earned about $4 million this year which beats Clarke and Ponting's earnings of $3.5 million each.
Ponting's decline in form with the bat has seen the veteran cricketer’s income shrink by $ 760,000 as in the preceding year the batsman received $ 4.26 million.
Out of $4 million that Watson earned, $1.8 million came from playing the Indian Premier League (IPL) for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Clarke-c51120 and Ponting
did not take part in this year’s edition of IPL.
Watson has been Australia’s most prolific cricketer in the last couple of years. The all-rounder is an indispensable unit of the Australian roster in all formats of the game. However, the 30-year-old's career has been plagued with
injuries and he is currently recuperating from a back and hamstring injury, the same ones which forced him to sit out of the Test series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754.
